New Process of Preparing High Value-Added Magnesiu
[hits:2076] [author:admin] [date:2012-04-28]

I. Background Technology:

Chinese Tibet, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and Shanxi have ample salt lake resources, deposited with a good deal of bloedite. However, there is little domestic research regarding comprehensive utilization of bloedite for the time being. Some units proposed the process of purifying sodium sulfate with alkaline process, but magnesium hydroxide is hard to be separated during the process, therefore, industrialization has not been realized yet. Other units adopt high and low temperature crystallization process to achieve magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, but energy consumption is high during the process, magnesium sulfate additional value is low, so it is very difficult for investors to obtain economic benefits. In a word, in the aspect of comprehensive utilization of bloedite, China is still in the starting stage.

II. This Process Features:

Take bloedite or sodium sulfate -bloedite complex ore as raw material, and sodium hydroxide or ammonia as precipitant, precipitate the magnesium in it, prepare electronic grade, oil grade and flame-retardant grade high-purity magnesium hydroxide; use special separation process to extract the sodium sulfate and prepare sodium sulfate product in conformity with industrial standard. Yield level: sodium sulfate 97%; magnesium 86%. Environmental protection: no three wastes discharge.

III. Product Quality:

IV. Economic Benefits:

1. Composition of raw ore: sodium sulfate 41%, magnesium sulfate 28%; (according to the ore sample provided by one company Inner Mongolia)

2. Total investment for processing 1,000kg raw ore: 1,254.5 Yuan;

3. Total output for processing 1,000kg raw ore: 1,980 Yuan;

4. Net profit for processing 1,000kg raw ore: 725 Yuan.

V. Investment Scale:

It is up to the actual circumstance. According to daily treatment of 100t raw ore, equipment investment is about 4 million Yuan.

VI. Way of Cooperation:

Technical transfer. Taking responsibility for process flow design, supporting equipment of standard equipment, non-standard equipment manufacture design, equipment is plane layout design, equipment installation design, pipe network design, equipment installation guidance, equipment commissioning, production commissioning, training for production engineers, analysis staff and technicians, process operation specifications, raw material and product analysis method, and preparation of intermediate control analysis method; ensuring output, yield and quality to reach the standard; and undertaking turn-key projects.
